I decided to do an 8-week cut in August 2020. I didn’t like how I looked so I chased my smallest self. I really thought that losing weight was my goal.
I lost 9.8lbs. (I bet you $ more than half of that weight was muscle)
During this process, I also lost my drive for training. I was chasing skinny, not strong. I weighed 10lbs less, cool, but I felt weak & fragile. Losing weight was not my true goal.
Over the past year I’ve realized that my true goal has & always will be strength.
To be strong, look strong & feel strong… always.
Chasing skinny took a piece of my identity, don’t let it take yours.
