For Parents Who Want More
You're Not Looking for a Gym.
You're Looking for an Edge.
You want your child's development backed by experience and a system that delivers real results. You need a performance partner that builds real competitive advantage — not just a place to "work out."
Before getting started, most parents are trying to figure out a few key things:
"Will this be too much?"
You don't want to overload your athlete. We don't pile on fatigue—we build capacity so they can handle more with less strain.
"Will this actually work?"
You want proof, not promises. Our system is built on 25 years of experience, real results, and ongoing tracking. If your athlete shows up and does the work, progress follows.
"Is this the right fit?"
Every athlete is different. Our programs meet them where they are and develop them based on their level, experience, and long-term needs.
"Why have they plateaued?"
Your child may already be training—but not progressing. We bridge the gap between raw ability and real performance.
You need a proven system. Not random workouts.
Long-Term Athletic Development
We Build Athletes for the Long Game
School and team sports focus on skills, tactics, and competition. Our role is to fill in the gaps—movement quality, strength, speed and resiliency—so your child can handle those demands more effectively.

Measurable Progress, Not Guess Work
Athletes are measured and tested weekly to track performance trends and improvement.

Structured System, Personalized Execution
Small Group Training environment so we can focus on coaching your athletes to their potential.

Data Driven Development
We have the same technology used in professional sports that allows us to quantify performance, measure fatigue and drive specificity into training — ensuring consistent results without breakdown.

Strong, Confident and Resilient
Focused training that builds an athlete's confidence on and off the field or court.

What Madison Parents Say
Real results and personal recommendations from Madison parents.
"Our volleyball program has contracted with BCI for strength and conditioning for years. Chris Tate continually works to improve not only the kids' physicality but also their mentality relating to sport specific goals and life goals. He is able to push each athlete to achieve weight room success safely no matter their starting level of athleticism. Our program has had ZERO season ending injuries since training with BCI."
"Andy is the best trainer in the state and arguably the southeast. I started training with Andy when I was 13 and as an 8 year NFL vet I still use programs and techniques that he taught me as a kid. If you're in the 256 BCI is the gym."
"BCI is no doubt the best gym in Madison! I have trained a little over 2 years in the high school group and have seen nothing but great results!! The coaches are very thorough with our training and intentional with emphasizing the details in the skills."
"This gym is for any high school athlete looking to strengthen their performance in a sport. I have been training for more than a year at this facility and it has truly helped how competitive I am, not just as a rower, but as an overall athlete."
"Seen a ton of improvement over the last 7 months. Pitching velo went up from 79 to 86-88 and being one of the best pitchers in the southeast. Big time props to this place and the people that give great form tips for optimal lifting."
"My daughter has been going to BCI the last few years and it has added just what she needed to what she was already doing through her school program. She tore her ACL in a competition in late June and BCI was a big part of helping her rehab back to playing 6 months later. BCI is a part of helping her achieve her goal and dream to play D1 College basketball. If your willing to do the work this place and the people are worth the investment!"

Frequently Asked Questions
That's a very common and valid concern. At BCI, our goal is not to add more stress to your child's schedule, but to manage it better. School and team sports focus primarily on skills, tactics, and competition. Our role is to fill in the gaps—movement quality, strength, coordination, and resiliency—so your child can handle those demands more effectively. Training is scaled appropriately to complement what they're already doing, not compete with it.
Year-round training doesn't mean high intensity all the time. It means consistent, well-managed exposure over time. Athletic development works best when it's continuous rather than starting and stopping throughout the year. When training is structured correctly, year-round development actually reduces the risk of overtraining and injury while helping athletes adapt, improve, and stay confident as demands change across seasons.
Sport-specific skills matter, but they're limited by the athlete's physical foundation. Strength, coordination, balance, and movement quality directly influence how quickly and safely skills can be learned and expressed. At BCI, we focus on building the athletic base that allows sport-specific training to be more effective, not replacing it.
Perfection is not the expectation. Consistency over time is what drives results. Our schedule is designed for busy families, with multiple training windows and flexibility when life happens. Athletes don't need to attend every possible session to benefit—what matters is sustainable participation that fits your family's routine.
We view performance training as a long-term investment in your child's development, not a short-term fix. Just like school or sports, progress compounds over time. That said, we regularly reassess goals, workload, and fit to ensure training remains appropriate, valuable, and aligned with your child's stage of development.
Most families aren't concerned about affordability as much as they are about long-term value. Our programs are designed to deliver meaningful, measurable progress by focusing on fundamentals that carry over to every sport and stage of development. When training is done correctly and consistently, athletes move better, learn faster, and stay healthier—benefits that extend well beyond a single season.
Bottom Line
Our mission is to help athletes train smarter, stay healthy, and develop confidence over time, while fitting realistically into the demands of family life.
